Mums Magic Morning Granola

Makes one large jar


2 cups puffed millet

2/3 cups chopped brazil nuts

1/2 cup pepitas (pumpkin seeds)

2/3 cup roughly chopped walnuts

3 tbsp chia seeds

1 cup coconut flakes

1 cup chopped pitted prunes

4 tsp cinamon

4 tbsp coconut oil

3 tbsp rice malt syrup


1Preheat oven to 165 degrees.

2If you have a food processor, you can do all the chopping in that, otherwise enjoy the process with some music on.

3Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl and then coat with oil and syrup (you can make chocolate granola here by adding 2 tbs of raw cacao).

4Pour granola into a baking tray and spread out evenly.

5Cook in the oven for 20-30 minutes or until crunchy and golden, stirring the granola at the 10-15 minute mark.

6Remove and allow to cool. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.

This is such an awesome way to start your day. Full of fibre, gluten free, loads of protein, iron, magnesium, omega 3, blood sugar regulatory and super delicious!

You can have by itself or yoghurt and fruit. Feel free to make a larger quantity. This amount makes a big jar.
